Studio Topo works closely and at eye level with partners who see the value in dealing with issues in the here and now. Their design practice is not driven by the pursuit of a timeless design, but rather by the condensation of individual circumstances.
Studio Topo is a collaborative endeavour by Moritz Gysi, Linus Maurmann and David Walsh. They focus on product and spatial design and pay attention to the entire life cycle of objects in their environment. Studio Topo was founded by the three following their industrial design studies at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). They are honoured to be part of ZHdK’s “What’s next_Compass” sponsorship programme and Pro Helvetia’s “Starting Powers” programme. At the Milan Design Week 2023, they’re presenting the Y-Stool as “Emerging Talents” in the House of Switzerland.
